Danville was
surprisingly strong in the team competition and Tri-West supplied the
individual highlight of the day at the Hendricks County meet on Saturday.
The Warriors
placed a strong third in the meet. They put six grapplers in the championship
round and captured three individual titles. Tri-West put three wrestlers in the
finals and claimed two individual titles. However, as you will read below, a
Bruin wrestler was the star of the finals. Overall, Tri-West ended sixth in the
meet.

The
highlights of the championship round came at 160 lbs. and in the heavyweight
division. At 160 lbs., Tri-West’s Ryan Kolb needed just :28 to pin Cody
Blackburn of Cascade. Brownsburg heavyweight Duell Ginter ended a scoreless
match late in the first period with a lightning quick pin of Jake Williams of
