BT&F: Southmont’s Christensen Wins High Jump At Regional

It was a long night for Sagamore Conference teams Thursday
evening at the Lafayette Boys’ Track Regional. Southmont was the highest team
finisher among Sagamore squads, placing 15^th in the field of 29
teams. Crawfordsville followed closely in 16^th, while Danville and Tri-West tied for 18^th and Frankfort finished 26^th.

Only two conference athletes advanced to the state finals. Southmont’s Jonathon Christensen, who won the High Jump competition
with a leap of 6’9”. Tri- West’s Mathew Moore also qualified with a second place performance in the 300 Meter Jurdles.
